CDL-A Truck Driver (Oilfield)
Overview
James Oilwell Service Inc is hiring a CDL-A Truck Driver to support oilfield operations based out of Belfield, ND. This role involves operating vac trucks, hydro-vac units, and other commercial vehicles in active field environments.
This is a hands-on position for drivers who are comfortable working outdoors, handling equipment, and supporting job site operations—not just highway driving.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate vac trucks, hydro-vac trucks, and semi-trucks in oilfield settings
- Transport fluids, materials, and equipment in compliance with DOT regulations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with basic maintenance and upkeep of assigned vehicles
- Support job site activities, including setup and cleanup as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Work in varying weather and field conditions throughout the year
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (Tanker and Air Brake endorsements required)
- Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and fit-for-duty testing
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including extended days and field-based schedules
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
Pay & Benefits
- $30 to $35 per hour based on experience
